Chris trueman

Chris Trueman is a Southern California-based painter whose work explores the shifting territory between abstraction, representation, and digital imagery. Combining gestural marks, layered color, and forms influenced by both painting and digital media, his compositions suggest images caught in states of transition and transformation. Trueman received dual BFA degrees in Painting and Digital Media from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from Claremont Graduate University. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and internationally.
