SUBMISSION DETAILS

Artists who have successfully completed at least two permanent public artworks or comparable large-scale commissioned works, especially works that are monumental, outdoors, and/or site-specific, may send a submission for our public artist database. Please contact us for details.

SAN MATEO MOSAIC ARCHES

This mosaic archway project in San Mateo combines handmade high-fire tile, glass, ceramic, and commercial tiles with sculptural and relief elements. The concepts shown here were developed as design studies to explore banding patterns, color palettes, and crown details for the final installation, illustrating the intended scale, material mix, and visual rhythm of the arches.
