Patricia Claro

Chilean artist Patricia Claro creates paintings, videos, prints, photographs, and installations centered on water, reflection, and the landscape. Through close observation of freshwater surfaces, she explores the shifting effects of light, movement, atmosphere, and reflected imagery, often transforming natural phenomena into near-abstract visual languages. Claro studied Design and Visual Arts at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her work brings together scientific observation and poetic interpretation while also drawing attention to the ecological importance and increasing scarcity of freshwater.
