Bumin Kim

Bumin Kim is a South Korean-born artist whose work challenges traditional distinctions between painting, drawing, and sculpture. Using thread and string in place of conventional brushstrokes, she builds intricate compositions in which lines accumulate into vibrant, dimensional fields of color. Kim received her MFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of North Texas. Her work has been exhibited at art fairs and institutions across the United States and is held in public and private collections internationally.
